Triple Play

Summary: Triple Play works to improve the mind, body, and soul of kids through healthy habits, daily challenges, and social recreation. 

Triple Play helps kids think and practice wellness habits for their mind, body, and soul. The Healthy Habits for the mind component addresses the power of choice, calories, vitamins and minerals, the food pyramid, and appropriate portion size. 

The Body component encompasses Daily Challenges. These activities boost Clubs’ traditional methods to a higher level by providing sports and fitness activities for all youth. We focus on ability, confidence, and motivation through different daily challenges.

The Soul component is the embodiment of Social Recreation. It helps build positive relationships and cooperation among young people

The three elements are a triple threat working to steer a kid's behavior in a positive direction.

Goal

Triple Play strives to improve the overall health of Club members ages 6-18 by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition, and helping them develop healthy relationships.

Why

In a world full of negativity and unhealthy food, it is crucial to instill a sense of well-being in our children. Triple Play teaches Club members about Healthy Habits, ways to eat better and live better.

Who

Boys & Girls Club members age 6-18
