US Cellular 3rd Annual Black History Month Art Contest

US Cellular announced the three winners of its 3rd annual Black History Month Art Contest with Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri at a celebration at the Club.
Public voting for the finalists’ art was available online, and the winning artists were awarded gift cards in the following amounts:

Tylan Edwards received $250 for 1st Place for the portrayal of Madam CJ Walker

 

Jemari Gillmore received $150 for 2nd Place for the portrayal of George Roberts Carruthers

 

Amitiona Warren received $100 for 3rd Place for the portrayal of Ronald E. McNair

 

“I think since our Club serves such a diverse group of kids, it's important for us to have projects like this," said Camra McDaniel, Teen Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri. "Everyone benefits from it and show off their artistic skills.”
