We have had a lot of successes at the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri. From making a difference in the life of a child, to helping staff find their true calling, to giving volunteers and donors a chance to give back, there is always an opportunity for success at the Boys & Girls Club.

Christopher Tucker

Chris Tucker was born and raised in Joplin, Missouri he attended Joplin High School and  MSSU to obtain his dreams. He is now the district supervisor at H&R Block for the Missouri area and he is married and the father of four children. He enjoys watching football, expecially the Chiefs! Chris also attened the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Missouri for seven years..

Ashley’s Story

The Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri is pleased to announce our Youth of the Year, Ashley! Ashley is 14 years old and has been attending the Boys & Girls Club for eight years.

Wyatt’s Story

At the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri we are fortunate to receive an excess of donations from time to time. One of our favorite things to do with donations that we do not have a need for is to pass them through to our families. Several times a year (and sometimes several times a month) you will find tables in our entryway full of everything from bread to toys for parents to take.

Tristin’s Story

Tristin began attending the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Missouri the summer of 2011. Tristin was a new kid to the Boys & Girls Club and has Asperger’s Syndrome. Tristin lacked social skills, was withdrawn, and had trouble making friends. He had trouble being a group setting, did not like to speak up during group discussions, and sometimes had trouble behaving.
